Alvin Bailey has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work and is currently working at the Eastern Shore Center for Independent Living as an Intake Specialist.

In the past Alvin has worked in the following positions: as a Social Worker for the Accomack County Department of Social Services and for the City of Williamsburg Department of Social Services.

Alvin is the Director of Aging Programs at the Eastern Shore Area Agency on Aging with the responsibility for the oversight of Aging Programs.

Lastly, worked in Arlington, Virginia as a Program Specialist with the Aging Program and at the Madison Adult Day Health Center as Acting Director before returning to the Eastern Shore in 2006.
